The open-source Plausible alternative
Both are privacy-first, cookieless and open source. Open Analytics adds realtime journeys, revenue attribution and plain-English answers over the same lightweight script, and imports your Plausible history on the way in.

The short answer
Plausible and Open Analytics are both open-source, cookieless analytics you can self-host, and neither needs a consent banner.
Plausible is the more established product, with a longer track record.
Open Analytics goes further: revenue attributed back to its source, per-visitor journeys, funnels, and questions answered in plain English.

| Starting price | $9 · 50,000 events | $9 · 10,000 pageviews |
- Revenue attribution. Plausible tracks revenue on custom goals; it does not attribute a payment back to the visit and the source that produced it.
- Every visitor's journey. Session-by-session trail for one anonymous visitor, from an identity that rotates daily.
- Bring your history with you. Plausible imports from Google Analytics; we import from Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, DataFast, Seline and Rybbit.
- Starting price. The meters differ, so read them carefully. Plausible counts pageviews; we count events, which includes pageviews and anything you tag with data-oa-event. Custom events on Plausible's starter plan count toward the same 10,000.

Bring your Plausible history with you
Export your stats from Plausible and upload the ZIP exactly as it arrives. We parse it, show you what is inside, and nothing reaches your dashboard until you have reviewed it, so a bad import is something you cancel, not something you undo.
Why teams choose Open Analytics. Not just a lighter dashboard.
