The open-source DataFast alternative

Both attribute revenue back to the visit that earned it. Open Analytics does it open source and cookieless from the first pageview (no banner, no cookie required) and imports your DataFast history on the way in.

The short answer

DataFast and Open Analytics ask the same question: which visits actually turn into revenue. Both attribute payments to their source and follow individual journeys on a live globe.

DataFast is closed source, and its attribution rides a first-party cookie; its own docs say switching on cookieless mode weakens it.

Open Analytics is open source and cookieless from the first pageview, with full revenue attribution and no consent banner to install, plus Core Web Vitals and plain-English answers.

  • Ask it in plain English. Via their MCP server and CLI, from an AI tool you bring; there is no assistant inside the dashboard.
  • Bring your history with you. DataFast imports from Plausible; we import from Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, DataFast, Seline and Rybbit.
  • Cookieless. A cookieless mode exists; the default script rides a first-party cookie because long-window revenue attribution needs it.
  • No consent banner. In cookieless mode. On the default cookie script, their own docs say a banner may be needed depending on jurisdiction.
  • Starting price. Both start at $9 and both meter events, so this one is a straight read: DataFast's Starter covers 10,000 events on a single website; ours covers 50,000 events. An event is a pageview or anything you tag.

Bring your DataFast history with you

Export your data from DataFast and upload it as it arrives. We parse it, show you what is inside (pageviews, goals and revenue attribution by day), and nothing reaches your dashboard until you publish the import.

Why teams choose Open Analytics. Not just a lighter dashboard.
