Fathom is deliberately minimal and aggregate-only (no funnels, no per-visitor journeys), and its open-source Lite version has been frozen since 2020.

Open source / self-hostable. Fathom Lite is MIT-licensed and self-hostable, but feature-frozen since around 2020; the hosted product is closed source.
Realtime visitors. A live-visitor counter with current pages and referrers, not a live board the whole dashboard runs on.
Revenue attribution. Revenue values can be attached to custom events you instrument; there is no payment-provider connection tying a payment back to the visit that earned it.
Every visitor's journey. Fathom is aggregate-only by design; the closest feature is entry and exit pages.
Bring your history with you. Fathom imports from Google Analytics (UA and GA4); we import from Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, DataFast, Seline and Rybbit.
Starting price. Fathom starts at $15 for 100,000 pageviews, and custom events count toward that same meter. We start at $9 for 50,000 events. If your traffic is high and untagged, Fathom's meter stretches further; if you track events, compare carefully.

Fathom's dashboard download arrives as a ZIP of CSV files. Upload it exactly as it arrives: we parse it, show you what is inside (pageviews, unique visitors, referrers and top pages by day), and nothing reaches your dashboard until you publish the import.

If you want established aggregate stats and nothing deeper, Fathom is a solid pick.
