Public dashboards

Share your numbers with a link: what the three switches publish, and how to revoke a link.

What a public dashboard is

A read-only version of your site's numbers at a link anyone can open, no account needed: totals, the traffic chart, engagement, geography, pages, sources and devices, over any range the visitor picks. It is how you show a client the work, put your traffic on your about page, or give a teammate the numbers without giving them an account.

Turn it on

Open the Public dashboard panel

DashboardSiteSettingsPublic dashboard

It lives in your site's Settings. Everything about sharing, the switches and the link, is on this one panel.

Flip the dashboard switch and copy the link

Turning the dashboard on mints the link and opens the data board. The text under the switch lists exactly what becomes visible before you commit to it.

Three independent decisions

Sharing is not one switch but three, so you show precisely what you mean to and nothing more.

The dashboard

Opens the whole history board at once: totals, chart, engagement, geography, pages, sources, devices. Off, the link answers nothing at all.

Live visitors

The active-visitor count only, no pages or countries. Some owners share history but not who is on right now.

Site identity

Your site's name and favicon in the header. Off, the page stays anonymous and shows the shape of the traffic without saying whose it is.

What the viewer controls

The page opens on your site's reporting timezone, the same clock your dashboard and widgets use. A visitor picks their own range and can switch the timezone, searchable by country or city, so a reader in another country can read your day on their own clock. Their choices touch nothing of yours; the page is read-only in both directions.
