What a funnel is here
A funnel is an ordered list of steps, a page visited or an event fired, and the question is always the same: of the people who did step one, how many made it to the end, and where did the rest leave. Funnels live in their own tab on each site, and they read your existing events, so building one records nothing new and changes nothing about what is collected.

Add steps in order
A step is a page path or a custom event. The editor suggests from what your site actually sends, so you pick real names instead of guessing spellings. Order matters: a visitor counts for step three only having matched one and two first, within the same session.
Pick a range and read the drop-off
Funnels are computed over the range you pick, like every other view; change the range and the funnel recomputes. Each step shows how many reached it and how many fell away before it, so the leak is where the biggest step-to-step drop is.
Edit or delete
Reopen a funnel to rename it, add or reorder steps, or remove one; it recomputes over your existing events, so an edit is instant and costs nothing.
